Job Description

Job Purpose

The Trainer is responsible for planning, delivering, and managing training programmes for staff and/or volunteers. The role involves coordinating on training administration, conducting training sessions, collecting feedback, and preparing training reports to ensure effective learning outcomes and compliance with requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Training Delivery

  • Conduct training sessions for staff and/or volunteers using appropriate training methods (face-to-face, mass briefing, or online).

  • Prepare and customise training materials based on requirements and training objectives.

  • Ensure training content is aligned with financial and/or accounting principles where applicable.

2. Training Administration & Coordination

  • Work closely with client to administer training programmes, including scheduling, registration, and confirmation of participants’ attendance.

  • Coordinate logistical arrangements to ensure smooth execution of training sessions.

3. Feedback & Evaluation

  • Ensure course feedback is conducted after every training session.

  • Compile and submit feedback and training records to client in a timely manner.

  • Collate questions raised during training sessions and provide them to the client for review and follow-up.

4. Reporting

  • Prepare and submit training reports upon request by client, including:

    • Training participation statistics

    • Training evaluation results

  • Customise training reports and evaluation questions according to client’s requirements.

5. Compliance & Flexibility

  • Adapt to changes in training schedules

  • Support in managing training arrangements in the event of cancellation or postponement due to unforeseen circumstances.

Requirements & Qualifications

Academic Qualifications

  • Degree, Diploma, or professional qualification in Finance, Accounting, or related disciplines.

Experience

  • Proven experience in conducting training programmes, preferably in finance, accounting, or related fields.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Good organisational and coordination skills.

  • Ability to prepare reports, analyse feedback, and customise training materials.

  • Familiarity with online and classroom-based training platforms.
