Job Title: Software Test Engineer
Contract: 2 Years (Extendable)
Location: East, Singapore

Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer to support end-to-end testing activities for an integrated e-payment system. The role covers the full testing lifecycle, including planning, design, execution, automation, and continuous improvement of test processes within a DevSecOps environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute end-to-end testing activities for system integration
• Analyse business and system requirements to define test scope
• Prepare test environments and develop test cases and test procedures
• Design, develop, and maintain test automation scripts and frameworks
• Execute functional, integration, regression, performance, and basic security testing
• Implement and maintain automated testing within DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines
• Log, track, and manage defects through to closure
• Perform root cause analysis for production and UAT issues
• Ensure requirements traceability and identify test coverage gaps
• Conduct test reviews with stakeholders
• Document automation solutions and user guides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation
• Experience testing UI-based, embedded, or back-office systems
• At least 3 years’ experience testing on Windows OS
• Experience in Unix/Linux, cloud, or embedded systems is an advantage
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies (SIT, UAT, performance testing)
• Experience with test automation tools/scripting languages
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools (e.g. Jira, Confluence, Xray, GitLab CI/CD) is preferred
• Experience in API testing and microservices security testing is an advantage
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently or in a team
• ISTQB certification is an advantage.
