Tech Finance Lead (12-month contract)

About the Role

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Tech Finance Lead / Senior Business Consultant to drive large-scale financial transformation and digital banking initiatives. This role partners closely with C-level stakeholders to modernise FP&A, implement AI-enabled finance solutions, and deliver integrated business planning across enterprise functions.

The ideal candidate combines deep financial services expertise with strong technology consulting experience, enabling data-driven decision-making and sustainable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead finance transformation initiatives including FP&A modernization and integrated business planning.
• Drive financial governance, cost optimization, and profitability improvement across technology portfolios.
• Manage multi-million-dollar program financials (SGD 20M+), ensuring budget adherence and measurable ROI.
• Partner with stakeholders across Finance, Operations, HR, Payments, and Wealth to align financial strategy with business objectives.
• Deliver ERP and enterprise performance management solutions (e.g., SAP BPC/SAC, Anaplan, Power BI).
• Facilitate Agile delivery practices and act as Scrum Master where required, leading sprint planning, reviews, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Conduct process re-engineering workshops using design thinking and LEAN methodologies.
• Develop financial forecasting models, dashboards, and KPI reporting for executive decision-making.
• Oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and governance controls.
• Support contract governance including Statements of Work (SOWs) and Master Service Agreements (MSAs).
• Contribute to client engagement, consultative solutioning, and account growth within the banking sector.

Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Financial Services and/or Technology Consulting.
• Strong domain knowledge in Banking, Digital Banking, Payments, or Wealth Management.
• Proven experience delivering finance transformation or digital banking programs.
• Hands-on experience in FP&A processes, financial forecasting, and cost management.
• Experience with ERP/EPM platforms such as SAP BPC/SAC, Anaplan, or equivalent analytics tools.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with experience supporting senior leadership.
• Experience working in Agile environments (JIRA, Confluence).
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards within APAC preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Technology, Mathematics, or a related discipline.
• Certifications such as Scrum Master (CSM/PSM), Product Owner (PSPO), Data Analytics, or Project Management.
• Exposure to AI-driven finance transformation, data science, or analytics-enabled business planning.
