Site Engineer (Contract) [Civil / Infrastructure | Tunnelling / LTA Projects]

Responsibilities:

• Report to the Construction Manager and support overall project execution.
• Prepare method statements, safe work procedures, risk registers, and tunnel progress reports.
• Conduct presentations and briefings on tunnelling works prior to commencement.
• Plan, monitor, and track site progress, manpower mobilization, and equipment deployment.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Conduct daily inspections and supervision of bored tunnelling works.
• Supervise TBM machine operations and manage tunnel labor for excavation and ring build.
• Maintain site records, including excavated volumes and grouting records.
• Liaise with authorities, consultants, and subcontractors on-site activities.
• Plan and monitor reinforced concrete (RC) works and QECP works at the site.
• Monitor bored pile construction works in coordination with relevant parties.
• Develop and execute comprehensive construction plans, aligning with clients, subcontractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
• Compile and analyze project reports to support Construction Manager decision-making.
• Lead civil and structural engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop, monitor, and review site work programs to optimize workflow and resource utilization.
• Strategically plan and schedule project tasks and resources to meet deadlines efficiently.
• Resolve on-site technical and engineering challenges, providing expert guidance.

Requirements:

• Degree in Engineering.
• 5 years of engineering experience, with at least 3 years in LTA / tunnelling / MRT projects.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.
