YOUR NEW JOB

As a Network Security Resident Engineer, you’ll be embedded onsite to support and deliver Fortinet-based network & security solutions within a large BFSI enterprise environment.
You’ll handle design validation, deployment, optimisation, and troubleshooting across complex routing (BGP) & SD-WAN setups.
This is a 12-month contract role (renewable).
Deployed onsite to client premise, that might require standby/weekend support occasionally.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Deploy, configure, and optimise Fortinet network security solutions (SD-WAN, firewall)
• Work on complex routing environments (BGP, OSPF, WAN architectures)
• Support solution design, validation, and implementation activities
• Build and maintain configuration templates and automation scripts (e.g. Jinja)
• Troubleshoot network and security issues, including escalations
• Perform testing, integration, and system verification
• Maintain technical documentation (design, configs, runbooks)
• Provide knowledge transfer and ongoing support to client teams

WHAT IS NEEDED FROM YOU

• Strong hands-on experience in network security &enterprise networking (7+ years)
• Deep expertise in routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and WAN environments
• Strong experience with Fortinet technologies (FortiGate, FortiManager, SD-WAN)
• Experience with scripting/automation (e.g. Jinja, templating)
• Experience in design, deployment, and troubleshooting of network solutions
• Strong problem-solving and client-facing communication skills
