Overview

1.Architecture & Design

• Plan and design cloud infrastructure across platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP. - Ensure systems are scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient.

• Define standards for networking, storage, and compute resources.

2. Deployment & Automation

• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation. Automate provisioning, scaling, and configuration to reduce manual work.

• Manage container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and Docker.

3. Operations & Maintenance

• Monitor system performance and availability using observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana). - Perform patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting to maintain uptime.

• Optimize resource usage to control costs.

4. Security & Compliance

• Collaborate with DevSecOps teams to embed security policies into infrastructure.

• Implement identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance controls.

• Ensure adherence to industry standards (ISO, SOC 2, GDPR).

5. Collaboration & Support

• Work closely with developers, SREs, and project managers to align infrastructure with application needs.

• Provide technical guidance and documentation for teams.

• Support incident response and disaster recovery planning.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Evaluate new cloud services and emerging technologies.
