Test Engineer (Bank I West I Up to 5.5k)

The Job

1) Perform manual testing in accordance with functional, business & technical requirements
2) Prepare, execute & update test cases, test documentation
3) Identify, log & track defects & work with key stakeholders to ensure timely resolution
4) Develop, execute & maintain automated test scripts using Selenium.
5) Execute regression & LV tests through a combination of manual & automated approaches.
6) Analyse automation failures & perform initial troubleshooting independently
7) Escalate issues appropriately & collaborate with key stakeholders when required
8) Provide regular test execution & defect status updates
9) Support any other testing or project related tasks assigned.


The Talent

1) Experience in manual software testing
2) Hands-on experience with Selenium automation (mandatory)
3) Basic to intermediate programming/scripting knowledge (e.g.: Jayan, Python or similar)
4) Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with guidance available
5) Willingness to learn & improve automation skills
6) Strong attention to detail, documentation & communication skills
