Finance Manager (Manufacturing)

We are partnering with an established multinational in the manufacturing sector seeking for a Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, robust cost control, strong internal governance, and alignment with group-level financial strategies. This role plays a key part in supporting business decisions by providing insights into production costs, profitability, and operational efficiency.

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will lead a team of 6–7 finance professionals and drive finance excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee cost accounting, budgeting, internal controls, and management accounting functions
• Manage month-end closing and ensure timely preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
• Liaise with bankers, external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities
• Drive standard costing and variance analysis (materials, labour, overheads), and implement effective cost control measures
• Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes
• Provide financial insights to support operational and strategic decision-making, particularly within manufacturing operations
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance staff
• Undertake ad-hoc duties as assigned

Requirements

• Degree in Accounting/Finance, with professional qualification such as CPA / CA / ACCA preferred
• 5–8 years of relevant finance experience, preferably within the manufacturing industry
• Strong experience in cost accounting and financial operations
• Proficient in ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Cognos)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
• High attention to detail, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Proven leadership and team management experience
