Data Security Engineer(DLP) - Perm - S$10k - nego

Are you a technically skilled and hands-on professional ready to lead data governance and compliance in a complex, non-persistent VDI environment? We are looking for an expert in Microsoft Purview to design, implement, and manage solutions that protect our sensitive data.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support and leadership for the deployment, troubleshooting, and optimization of solutions
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable solutions using Microsoft Purview, with a focus on Exact Data Match (EDM) as a fundamental requirement.
• Develop and enforce policies for data retention and protection using Microsoft Purview.
• Ensure comprehensive data protection by integrating Microsoft Purview with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and other Microsoft 365 security tools, especially within a non-persistent VDI environment.
• Use Purview’s governance tools to monitor and manage data access, usage, and compliance.
• Work with teams to ensure technical solutions, like email encryption using Purview, meet organizational policies.

Required Skills & Experience:

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field is preferred.
• Min 3-5 years of relevant working experience
• Microsoft 365 Security Administration certifications are preferred
• Strong, hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview, particularly in Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Exact Data Match (EDM), Sensitive Information Type (SIT) creation, and general data governance.
• Practical experience with Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and its integration with Purview and Microsoft 365 in a non-persistent VDI environment.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 compliance and security tools, including sensitivity labels, data classification, and audit logs.
• Experience working in hybrid environments (on-premise and cloud).
• Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clearly communicate technical concepts
