Finance Supervisor / GL Lead (F&B) – Up to $5,000 | 5 Days Work Week | North-East

Location: North-East Singapore
Salary: Up to $5,000/month

Job Responsibilities:

Financial Closing & Reporting

• Lead month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and provisions
• Prepare management reports and audit schedules

General Ledger Management

• Oversee GL postings and account classifications
• Reconcile intercompany balances and monitor suspense accounts
• Manage fixed asset accounting and ensure timely clearing of outstanding items

Compliance & Audit

• Ensure compliance with SFRS/IFRS and internal policies
• Liaise with external auditors and tax agents
• Support GST and corporate tax reporting

Process & Workflow Management

• Develop and enforce month-end closing timelines and checklists
• Implement proper journal review and approval processes
• Strengthen internal controls, documentation, and audit trails

Team Leadership

• Supervise and guide GL executives/accountants
• Review work quality across AP & AR functions
• Allocate tasks, monitor deadlines, and support team development

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or Finance
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in GL / financial reporting
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Experience with ERP systems is an advantage
• Strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance
