Cloud DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in AWS, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and automating cloud infrastructure, building scalable deployment pipelines, and ensuring secure and efficient cloud operations. This role requires hands-on experience in regulated cloud environments, particularly Singapore Government Commercial Cloud (GCC & GCC+).

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform. 
• Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to enable seamless and automated deployments. 
• Create and manage scripts, playbooks, and workflows for infrastructure and application orchestration. 
• Ensure compliance with security standards, especially within GCC, GCC+, and SHIP-HAT frameworks. 
• Utilise Jira and automated testing tools to track, monitor, and improve deployment processes. 
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to enhance DevOps practices and delivery efficiency. 
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues, ensuring high availability and reliability. 

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 7+ years of relevant experience in Cloud DevOps or similar roles. 
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and Terraform.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD principles, tools, and best practices. 
• Experience with scripting, workflow orchestration, and automation pipelines. 
• Practical experience with Jira and automated testing frameworks. 
• Mandatory experience working in Singapore Government cloud environments (GCC, GCC+). 
• Familiarity with SHIP-HAT tools. 
• Proven expertise in modern infrastructure management and DevOps methodologies.
• Certifications in AWS, Terraform, or DevOps methodologies.

• Experience working in regulated or compliance-driven environments. 
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices and governance frameworks.
