Low-Code Engineer (SharePoint / Power Platform)

Contract Role – 24 Months (Nov 2025 – Oct 2027)

We are hiring on behalf of our client, a reputable organisation in the public sector, for an experienced Low-Code Engineer to support the design, redevelopment, and migration of an enterprise intranet portal to SharePoint Online.

This initiative aims to enhance internal collaboration, streamline business processes, and improve information management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement enterprise intranet solutions using SharePoint Online, including site architecture, content structure, and user experience optimisation
• Redevelop and migrate existing intranet portal into a modern SharePoint Online environment
• Build and deploy applications and automated workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
• Configure and administer low-code platforms, including:Workflow orchestrationBusiness rules enginesProcess logic and validation frameworksUser interface flows and responsive layouts
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable low-code solutions
• Ensure adherence to governance frameworks, best practices, and platform standards
• Support integration with internal systems and external platforms where required

Requirements

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in low-code development, particularly within Microsoft ecosystems
• Proven experience in building SharePoint Online intranet solutions (site design, content management, UX optimisation)
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
• Experience in configuring and managing low-code platforms, including workflow automation and process design
• Solid understanding of low-code/no-code methodologies, including rapid application development and governance practices

Highly Desirable

• Experience implementing Generative AI solutions or integrating AI capabilities into applications/workflows
• Prior experience working with government or public sector organisations
• Familiarity with compliance frameworks and structured stakeholder environments
• Relevant Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, SharePoint, Azure)
• Experience with API integrations, data connectivity, and third-party system integration
