Intern - Architectural Design & Construction Supervision of BTO Developments

What The Role Is Under the internship programme, you will be attached to the in-house design team in the Centre of Excellence for Urban Design and Development in HDB's Building & Research Institute. You will have the opportunity to assist the Architects as they design and supervise the construction of Build-to-Order (BTO) developments. What You Will Be Working On During your internship, you will have the opportunity to understand the considerations behind the next generation of public housing design. This will allow you to help Architects develop concepts in architectural and urban design. In addition, you will have the opportunity to be involved in tender documentation, authority submissions and construction management processes. Furthermore, you will be able to experience working alongside engineers, landscape architects and other specialist consultants in a multi-disciplinary setting with a strong emphasis on technical design coordination. You will also be privy to the interactions with multi-disciplinary consultant teams, contractors and specialists, and understand the roles which Architects play in the design process.
