Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (L2/L3)

We are seeking a Cloud & Infrastructure Engineer (L2/L3) with strong hands-on experience across hybrid environments (AWS/Azure + On-Prem).

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V/Nutanix), Linux/Windows systems, and enterprise infrastructure operations, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support business-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for cloud and on-prem infrastructure environments
• Manage and troubleshoot AWS and/or Azure workloads (compute, storage, networking, IAM)
• Administer and support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV)
• Perform incident, problem, and change management following ITIL practices
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for complex issues and implement preventive measures
• Support Linux and Windows server environments including patching and hardening
• Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and capacity
• Manage backup, disaster recovery, and system updates
• Collaborate with internal teams on deployments, migrations, and upgrades
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks

Requirements

🔹 Technical Skills

• Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure (EC2/VMs, VPC/VNet, Storage, IAM)
• Virtualization / Hypervisor:VMware vSphere / ESXiMicrosoft Hyper-VNutanix (AHV / HCI)
• Operating Systems:Linux (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP)
• Infrastructure:Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, firewall basics)Backup tools (Veeam, Commvault or similar)Monitoring tools (SCOM, SolarWinds, etc.)

🔹 Experience

• 4–8 years of experience in infrastructure / cloud operations (L2/L3 support)
• Experience working in enterprise or managed services environments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Exposure to hybrid cloud environments (on-prem + cloud integration)
• Ability to handle production environments and critical incidents

⭐ Good to Have

• Exposure to automation (Shell, Python, Ansible)
• Experience with Docker / Kubernetes
• Basic understanding of security and compliance frameworks
