Alibaba Cloud Engineer (Alicloud)

We are looking for an experienced Alibaba Cloud Engineer with hands-on expertise in Alicloud services, cloud infrastructure, and hybrid environments.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of compute, networking, security, and cloud operations, along with experience supporting production workloads and troubleshooting cloud-based systems.

🛠️ Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud) environments
• Manage and administer core Alicloud services such as ECS, VPC, OSS, SLB, and RDS
• Monitor and troubleshoot cloud infrastructure, performance, and availability issues
• Configure and manage networking components (VPC, subnets, security groups, NAT Gateway)
• Implement and support backup, disaster recovery, and high availability solutions
• Handle incident, problem, and change management processes
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive measures
• Ensure cloud security best practices including IAM, access control, and compliance
• Collaborate with DevOps and application teams for deployments and migrations
• Maintain documentation, SOPs, and operational runbooks

⚙️ Requirements

🔹 Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Alibaba Cloud (Alicloud) services:ECS (Elastic Compute Service)VPC (Virtual Private Cloud)OSS (Object Storage Service)SLB (Server Load Balancer)RDS (Relational Database Service)
• Good understanding of cloud networking and security concepts
• Experience with Linux systems (RHEL/CentOS/Ubuntu)
• Knowledge of Windows Server is an advantage
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and logging (CloudMonitor, Log Service)
• Basic understanding of automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, CLI scripting)

🔹 Experience

• 3–7 years of experience in cloud infrastructure / operations support
• Hands-on experience in Alicloud production environments
• Experience in L2/L3 support roles with troubleshooting responsibilities
• Exposure to hybrid environments (cloud + on-prem) is a plus
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

⭐ Good to Have

• Alibaba Cloud certifications (ACP / ACA)
• Experience with multi-cloud environments (AWS / Azure)
• Knowledge of containers (Docker / Kubernetes)
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
