  • Develop technical specifications for firefighting equipment, lead technical bid evaluations, and review vendor documents for all fire safety-related packages.
  • Conduct detailed 3D model reviews to ensure optimal placement of firefighting equipment (monitors, hose reels), detectors, and access/egress routes in compliance with safety spacing requirements.
  • Ensure all fire engineering deliverables comply with project philosophy and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain and update fire-related documentation in the project Hazard Register.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Fire Protection Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
  • At least 10 years of fire engineering experience in the offshore oil & gas industry, with proven involvement in FPSO or fixed platform projects.
  • Strong hands-on experience in FEED and Detailed Design for both active and passive fire protection systems in offshore facilities.
  • Solid knowledge of international codes and standards such as NFPA, SOLAS, API 2030, API 2218, NORSOK S-001, and the IMO FTP Code.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities, with the ability to deliver complex technical information clearly.
