Business Analyst Lead - Permanent Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Business Analyst Lead to drive business analysis excellence across complex, large-scale programmes. This role extends beyond individual contribution — you will lead and mentor a team of Business Analysts, shape solution outcomes, and ensure delivery aligns with business objectives.You will collaborate closely with Business Architects, Product Managers, and Solution Architects to translate strategic goals into actionable solutions, while guiding teams to deliver high-quality analysis,testing, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

Leadership & Team Management

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of Business Analysts, ensuring consistent quality and deliverystandards
• Provide guidance on requirements analysis, stakeholder engagement, and documentation bestpractices
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performing team culture

Business Analysis & Solutioning

• Oversee and validate requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation across multiple projects
• Ensure alignment between business needs and solution design/implementation
• Guide the team in translating business requirements into user stories, workflows, and functional specifications

Project Planning & Delivery

• Drive business analysis planning across project phases, ensuring scope clarity and adherence to timelines
• Partner with Product Owners and Project Managers to manage backlog, priorities, and dependencies

• Ensure deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and meet quality expectations

Testing & Validation

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validation, and verification activities
• Define testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and quality benchmarks
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business requirements and perform as intended

Stakeholder Management

• Engage and influence senior stakeholders, including government clients, to align on objectives and expectations
• Facilitate workshops, discussions, and key decision-making sessions
• Act as the bridge between business and technical teams

Process Improvement & Governance

• Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for business analysis
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, tools, and methodologies• Ensure consistency in documentation, traceability, and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field
• Minimum 8 years of Business Analysis experience, preferably within large-scale or government projects
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring Business Analyst teams
• Strong expertise in requirements management, process modelling (e.g., BPMN), and Agiledelivery
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or equivalent
