Enterprise Solution Architect (Public Sector | Pre-Sales)

Job Summary

We are partnering with a leading global technology services firm to appoint a Senior Solution Architect supporting large-scale public sector programmes in Singapore. This strategic, client-facing role focuses on designing complex technology solutions across cloud, applications, and data platforms for government and regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution design for complex, multi-technology engagements to deliver scalable and cost-effective architectures
• Drive pre-sales activities including preparing RFP, RFI, and proposal documents to support business acquisition
• Translate business requirements into scalable enterprise architectures aligned with client needs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across cloud, applications, and data domains to ensure integrated solutions
• Engage senior stakeholders to present and articulate solution strategies that meet public sector standards
• Develop solution sizing, estimation models, and delivery approaches to support project planning and execution
• Ensure all solutions comply with Singapore public sector standards and frameworks

Required competencies and certifications

• Singapore Citizen (due to public sector project requirements)
• 15+ years of experience in IT solutions architecture and service delivery
• Proven experience in pre-sales, solutioning, or bid management
• Strong exposure to Singapore public sector projects including GovTech, Ministries, and Statutory Boards
• Experience in at least two of the following areas: application development (Agile), application maintenance and support, SaaS platforms (e.g., ServiceNow), data platforms or analytics
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Government Commercial Cloud)
• Knowledge of microservices architecture
• Familiarity with enterprise frameworks such as TOGAF
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to influence and align diverse teams
