Frontend Engineer (HTML-CSS-JavaScript-React | GOVT | 24 months)

Job Title: Frontend Engineer
Duration: 24 months
Salary: 4500-6000
Location: Bukit Merah / Depot Rd
Eligibility: Only Singaporeans

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to understand requirements and translate them into efficient and scalable frontend solutions.
• Design and develop high-quality, reusable, and modular code for frontend applications using modern web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vite).
• Write and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
• Optimize frontend applications for performance, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging frontend technologies, trends, and best practices, and propose innovative solutions to improve the user experience.
• Participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related fields.
• Candidates with more than 2 years of relevant working experience may be considered for a Senior Software Developer position.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, with experience in one or more modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Knowledge of frontend testing frameworks and methodologies (e.g., Jest, Vitest, Playwright).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex frontend issues

Bonus:

• Experience in UIUX, product design, product management or related fields.
