Facilities Officer(East/Data Centre)

1.Shift Operations and Monitoring

• Work in rotating shifts to support 24x7 onsite operations for a large-scale data centre.
• Monitor BMS systems, critical facilities, and equipment (fire safety, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems).
• Act as first responders and Level 1 escalation point for onsite operational incidents and issues.
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical (M&E) equipment.

2.Service Requests and Documentation

• Respond to remote hands requests within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Accurately document and update activities and requests on Web Portal ticketing system (ITIL).

3.Safety, Security, and Policy Implementation

• Ensure effective implementation of safety, security, and customer support policies and procedures for the data centre.
• Oversee onsite security operations, including processes, manpower, and security software systems.

4.Contractor and Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate and support internal contractors and vendor activities, including reviewing Permit-To-Work (PTW) documents and resource scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and adherence to best practices during vendor activities.

5.Maintenance and Service Support

• Coordinate, plan, and support preventive and reactive maintenance activities with minimal disruption.
• Write and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs).

Job Requirements: 

• Higher Nitec/Diploma in engineering. 
• Possess general knowledge of M&E and Network Infrastructure.
• Familiar with certification standards, such as LEED Gold, BCA-IDA Green Mark Platinum, Uptime Institute Tier III, ISO 20000 / 22301 / 27001, SS564 is a plus.
• Able to commit 12 hours rotating shift.
