Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and analyze business requirements related to sanctions screening and transaction monitoring using Firco™ Continuity (by LexisNexis Risk Solutions).
  • Work closely with compliance, operations, and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications and system solutions.
  • Support end-to-end project lifecycle including requirements gathering, solution design, SIT/UAT, and implementation.
  • Define and document screening rules, workflows, and alert handling processes within Firco Continuity.
  • Collaborate with payment teams to ensure proper screening of messages across SWIFT, FEDWIRE, and SEPA channels.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current and target state processes for transaction screening and sanctions compliance.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications, process flows, and user stories for development and configuration teams.
  • Support testing activities (SIT/UAT), including test case preparation, execution, and defect tracking.
  • Work with stakeholders to ensure data mapping, message formats, and integration points are accurately defined.
  • Assist in production deployment and post-go-live support, including issue analysis and resolution.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Functional Business Analyst in banking or financial services.
  • Strong exposure to sanctions screening, AML, or compliance systems, preferably with Firco™ Continuity.
  • Good understanding of payment messaging formats and channels (SWIFT, FEDWIRE, SEPA).
  • Experience in requirements gathering, functional documentation, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Hands-on experience supporting SIT/UAT and end-to-end project delivery.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements related to sanctions and financial crime compliance.
  • Ability to work with both business stakeholders and technical teams in a cross-functional environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments is an advantage.
