Key Responsibilities

  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional documentation within the organizational context
  • Review and collaborate with System Analysts (SA) on functional specifications and process flowcharts
  • Evaluate and analyze existing business processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
  • Define and document detailed end-to-end business processes across both online and offline channels
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and ensure alignment with proposed solutions
  • Work closely with UI/UX design teams on requirements involving user interface design
  • Consult with Solution Architects and System Analysts on technical requirements and feasibility
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to ensure non-functional and security requirements are incorporated into solutions
  • Support business users during pilot testing and live implementation phases
  • Review test cases together with QA/Test teams to ensure requirements and solutions are thoroughly validated
  • Provide clarifications on defects raised during testing and ensure accurate defect classification
  • Conduct impact assessments for change requests and scope changes
  • Prepare and maintain functional specifications, operational impact assessments, requirement traceability, and change management documentation

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Economics, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced qualification is preferred
  • Minimum 8–10 years of experience within the banking or financial services industry
  • At least 3–5 years of experience as a Functional Business Analyst or System Analyst preferred
  • Proven track record in managing complex projects and delivering strategic business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of banking and financial products, services, and market practices
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a strategic mindset
  • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements within the financial industry
  • Proficient in financial systems, SDLC processes, testing methodologies, and data analysis tools
  • Experience in Wealth Management or Private Banking environments preferred
  • Knowledge of regulatory changes related to sales and advisory processes
  • Strong understanding of investment products
  • Experience designing end-to-end workflows and business processes
