About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on Service Engineer to support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of UPS systems. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in critical power equipment who enjoy working on-site and solving technical issues in real-time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out testing & commissioning (T&C) for UPS systems (single-phase and three-phase)
  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS and related power equipment
  • Conduct preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to ensure system reliability
  • Provide after-sales technical support, including standby support when required
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and internal teams for site activities and project execution
  • Assist in site project coordination and documentation
  • Liaise with manufacturers on warranty claims (hardware and software issues)
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures

Requirements

  • ITE / Diploma in Electrical or Electronic Engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in UPS / critical power / electrical systems
  • Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical equipment
  • Basic understanding of project coordination and site work
  • Willingness to perform on-site work and standby support when required
  • Good communication skills and a proactive working attitude
  • Experience working with UPS systems (single-phase / three-phase)
  • Exposure to data centres, industrial plants, or infrastructure projects
  • Familiarity with major UPS brands and systems
