Cloud Operations (Azure)

• Manage, monitor, and optimize Azure resources (e.g. AKS, AKV, virtual machines, storage, networking, API Management, Azure AD, monitoring tools).
• Implement and manage Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
• Monitor performance, cost optimization, and compliance using Azure Monitor, Sentinel, and Azure Cost Management.
• Implement disaster recovery, high availability, and backup strategies.

Windows & Linux System Administration

• Install, configure, patch, and troubleshoot Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) systems.
• Manage core services including Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy, IIS, Apache/Nginx, and SMTP.
• Perform OS hardening, vulnerability remediation, and system performance tuning.
• Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar tools.

Networking & Firewall

• Manage and troubleshoot Azure networking components such as VNets, subnets, NSGs, load balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, and firewalls.
• Configure and support routing, switching, and firewall solutions in hybrid and cloud environments.
• Implement and monitor network security controls including WAFs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Manage IPsec, SSL/TLS certificates, VPN tunnels, and encryption protocols.

DevOps & Automation

• Build, maintain, and support CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent tools.
• Support containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Automate deployments, patching, and monitoring using IaC and configuration management tools.
• Improve system reliability through monitoring, alerting, and self-healing mechanisms.

Security & Compliance

• Apply cloud security best practices including Azure RBAC, Key Vault, and Defender for Cloud.
• Ensure compliance with applicable security frameworks (e.g. ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS, IM8 where applicable).
• Support incident response, vulnerability management, and internal or external security audits.

Collaboration & Support

• Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes aligned with ITIL practices.
• Provide on-call or after-hours support as required under an established roster.
• Collaborate with development and security teams to ensure operational stability and service excellence.
