Job Description

Role Objectives & Key Responsibilities:

1. Technical studies and specifications

  • Participate in technical studies to identify configuration needs and specific developments
  • Present standard interfaces
  • Prepare technical specifications for interfaces and mapping

2. Client-specific developments

  • Prepare Technical Specification Forms (TSFs) based on BSD for specific functionalities
  • Prepare TSFs for client-specific interfaces
  • Perform client-specific developments according to TSFs
  • Conduct unit testing of developments
  • Fix bugs identified by the testing team

3. Solution configuration and implementation

  • Support solution parameterization to meet client requirements
  • Configure and integrate the different solution modules
  • Assist with installation of project deliverables at client site
  • Support the client during integration and acceptance testing
  • Identify and coordinate bug fixes to ensure sustainable functionalities
  • Diagnose and resolve bugs reported by the client

4. Certification, UAT, Migration Test Plan (MTP), and Go-Live

  • Ensure certifications with international networks (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Support the client during acceptance testing and implement a pilot in the production environment
  • Prepare and deliver patches, ensuring proper handover to the HPS Support team

5. Reporting and performance contribution

  • Report on activities to contribute to overall project performance
  • Log incidents and anomalies to impacted teams
  • Record daily activities using HPS tools

6. Support and mentoring

  • Provide guidance, support, and upskilling to junior team members
  • Supervise junior engineers in all their activities

Profile of the Job Holder:

  • Education Level: Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in software implementation, configuration, and project delivery
  • Strong knowledge of payment solutions, certification processes (Visa, Mastercard), and client-specific developments
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills
  • Ability to mentor junior team members and interact with multiple stakeholders.
