Application Delivery Lead

- Lead and oversee end-to-end application delivery activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Translate business and functional requirements into application solution designs and technical specifications
- Review, validate, and approve application architecture and design deliverables
- Ensure application designs comply with enterprise standards, security policies, and non-functional requirements
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams
- Coordinate and manage application development, configuration, and integration activities
- Work closely with Business Analysts to clarify requirements, manage scope, and assess change impacts
- Oversee application testing activities, including SIT, UAT support, and defect resolution
- Identify application-related risks, dependencies, and issues, and drive mitigation actions
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and DevOps teams to ensure environment readiness and deployment success
- Support deployment, cutover planning, and post-go-live stabilization activities
- Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and handover to operations and support teams
- Provide regular status updates on application delivery progress to project management and stakeholders

Top 3 MUST-have skills: 1. Proven experience leading application development across the full SDLC, including requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support. 2. Strong ability to translate business requirements into application architecture and detailed solution designs, with hands-on understanding of modern application stacks, integrations, and non-functional requirements. 3. Experience managing cross-functional teams (developers, testers, infra) and engaging stakeholders to drive alignment, manage dependencies, and resolve delivery risks.

Good to have skills (Optional)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and environment management
- Basic Business Analysis or domain knowledge in the relevant industry
- Knowledge of application security principles (e.g. secure coding, access control)
- Experience supporting production deployment and cutover planning
- Familiarity with ITSM processes (incident, problem, change management)
