Assistant Engineering Executive (Tuas South Incineration Plant)

[What the role is] You will work at Tuas South Incineration Plant as Assistant Engineering Executive to ensure the safe and effective operation and maintenance of the mechanical equipment and systems in the plant. [What you will be working on] You Will Be Responsible For The Following • To carry out daily maintenance of the assigned plant equipment • To ensure that daily job card and overhaul programmes are implemented • To attend to unscheduled outages of plant equipment • To carry out overhaul work as assigned by Engineers or Engineering Managers. • To carry out scheduled preventive maintenance • To carry out inspection of equipment after completion of work • To undertake projects assigned by Engineers / Engineering managers to improve the reliability, effectiveness and efficiency of the Plant's equipment and process. • To ensure all works are carried out in compliance with the relevant statutory safety requirements [What we are looking for] • At least a NITEC or Higher in Mechanical Engineering • Must be computer literate • Ability to work independently • A good team player with strong interpersonal skills • Good interpersonal communication skills • Knowledge of Microsoft Office • Organised and able to multi-task • Mature, independent and resourceful • Highly self-motivated • Able and willing to work on weekends/public holidays and after office hours • As part of the shortlisting process for this role, you may be required to complete a medical declaration and/or undergo further assessment.
