Manager, Biomedical Engineering (Healthcare) - Up to 9K #HHL

Salary: up to $9000
Location: Queenstown
Working hours: 5 days office hours

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, manage, and support procurement of medical and non-medical equipment, and furniture.
• Organise and lead user workgroups; drive productive discussions and guide departments to meet project milestones.
• Prepare technical specifications for tenders and evaluate submissions based on technical compliance.
• Make sound recommendations for procurement based on user needs and technical evaluations.
• Manage equipment budgets and ensure adherence to financial guidelines.
• Keep abreast of emerging healthcare technologies and planning standards.
• Liaise with contractors and vendors to manage service and tender deliverables.
• Provide expert technical advice to users and senior management.
• Support campus planning activities and assist Group BME operations where required.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Min. Degree in Electronics or relevant Engineering discipline
• Min 3 years’ experience in the same field, experience in specification drafting, project management
• Experience in healthcare facilities or similar project environments.
• Proactive team player with a high level of initiative and attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
