Job Description
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Monitor key financial metrics and prepare variance analysis reports.
- Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP).
- Coordinate with auditors for internal and external audits.
- Lead the annual budgeting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Track actual performance against budgets and advise on cost-control strategies.
- Identify financial risks and opportunities for savings.
- Manage daily cash flow, banking operations, and fund transfers.
- Ensure adequate liquidity and optimize working capital.
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations.
- Handle tax planning, filings, and liaise with tax authorities or consultants.
- Supervise and mentor finance team members.
- Set performance targets and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.
- Promote continuous learning and professional development.
- Implement and monitor effective internal control systems.
- Recommend and implement improvements to financial processes and systems.
