About the Role

We are seeking an experienced finance professional to support research and innovation fund management. This role provides strategic financial oversight, grant management, and stakeholder leadership to drive company's research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Oversight

• Support leadership in managing research funds and grants
• Provide financial analysis and strategic recommendations
• Monitor fund utilization and project cashflow
• Develop funding proposals for strategic initiatives

Grant & Fund Management

• Manage NMRC Centre Grant (CG) funds
• Work with investigators on budgeting and project costings
• Track research-related hiring and funding usage
• Ensure compliance with grant terms and regulations

Stakeholder Management & Leadership

• Liaise with internal stakeholders (investigators, HR, finance teams)
• Coordinate with Internal Office of Research and external agencies
• Lead and mentor a team supporting fund management

Administrative Oversight

• Review purchase requisitions and claims
• Ensure compliance with institutional and funding guidelines
• Support implementation of systems and policies

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent
• Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in finance / grants / research administration
• Experience in healthcare, academic or research environment preferred
• Strong experience in financial planning, analysis, and grant management
• Familiarity with national grant funding agencies
• Proficient in SAP systems
