Job Summary

The candidate will join the testing team for large Core banking projects, responsible for end-to-end test design, execution, defect management, and reporting for Transact requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for T24 core banking applications to ensure software quality and functionality
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to validate banking project deliverables
• Utilize and maintain test automation frameworks, including tools like Selenium for UI testing, to improve testing efficiency
• Conduct API testing using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI to verify backend service reliability
• Manage test data, environments, and reporting dashboards to support test execution and stakeholder communication
• Review and analyze business requirements and system specifications to define test approach, scope, and detailed test plans
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deliverables
• Provide status reporting and lead defect management processes across multiple teams to ensure timely resolution
• Proactively identify issues and risks, recommending optimal solutions to mitigate project impacts
• Partner with Business Analysts and Development teams to enhance upstream software quality, including requirements and development solutions

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 7+ years of experience as a test engineer on T24 projects, preferably with Private Banking exposure
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a relevant field

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong understanding of Temenos T24 core banking system, including tables, versions, and workflows
• Proficiency with test automation tools such as Selenium and programming languages like Java or Python
• Experience in the wealth management domain
• Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or SoapUI
• Good understanding of software engineering principles, including CI/CD and development tool stacks
