Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Regulatory Compliance expertise to support regulatory initiatives, compliance transformation projects, and AML system enhancements. The role involves working closely with compliance, risk, operations, and technology teams to translate regulatory requirements into functional solutions and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities
• Gather, analyze, and document business and regulatory requirements related to AML and compliance initiatives.
• Work with Compliance and Risk teams to interpret regulatory requirements and translate them into business and system requirements.
• Perform gap analysis between current AML systems/processes and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and process workflows.
• Support implementation and enhancement of AML systems such as:
• Transaction Monitoring
• Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
• Know Your Customer (KYC)
• Sanctions Screening
• Support UAT planning, execution, and defect management for regulatory and AML initiatives.
• Collaborate with IT teams during solution design, development, and testing phases.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements from authorities and global regulatory standards.
• Assist in regulatory reporting, audit preparation, and compliance reviews.
• Work with stakeholders to improve AML processes, operational efficiency, and risk controls.
• Maintain documentation and ensure traceability of requirements through the project lifecycle.
Required Skills & Experience
• Experience as a Business Analyst in Banking or Financial Services.
• Strong experience in AML, KYC, CDD, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.
• Experience with regulatory change initiatives and compliance transformation programs.
• Knowledge of AML platforms such as:
Actimize
Fircosoft
Mantas
Oracle FCCM
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
• Experience in requirement gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and ALM.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
