Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Payroll Executive to manage payroll operations and support financial administration. In this role, you will ensure accurate payroll processing, maintain statutory compliance, and support payroll-related financial reporting and process improvements.

You will work closely with HR and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth payroll operations and timely resolution of payroll-related matters.
Key Responsibilities

Payroll & Financial Support

  • Process monthly payroll accurately, including salary adjustments, bonuses, allowances, deductions, and final payments.

  • Work closely with HR on payroll system updates and final salary payments.

  • Handle payroll and manpower expense enquiries from employees and stakeholders.

  • Administer the eClaim system and maintain approval matrices.

  • Reconcile payroll-related contra and suspense accounts and resolve discrepancies.

  • Respond to audit requests relating to payroll, tax, and employee claims.

  • Perform other payroll and administrative duties as assigned.

Controls & Compliance

  • Ensure payroll controls operate effectively and accurately.

  • Review payroll processes, identify gaps, and implement corrective actions.

  • Manage payroll suspense accounts and ensure timely clearance.

  • Ensure compliance with Singapore statutory regulations, including the CPF Act and Income Tax Act.

Process Improvement

  • Support digitalisation initiatives related to payroll processes and financial reporting.

  • Participate in ad-hoc projects and initiatives to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Diploma in Business, HR, Accountancy, Finance or related field.

  • 3–5 years of payroll experience, preferably with SAP Payroll.

  • Knowledge of Singapore statutory requirements (CPF Act, Income Tax Act).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • Strong analytical, organisational, and coordination skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Meticulous, proactive, and able to take initiative.

  • Able to work independently and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
