Finance Executive (Full Sets required)

Salary: Up to S$5,000 basic + Variable Bonus + AWS
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Work Location: Marymount
Annual Leave: 14 days (capped at 18 days)

Job Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Finance Executive is responsible for managing financial reporting, operations, tax compliance, and audit processes. This role also provides financial insights to support business decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting

  • Prepare and deliver accurate full sets of financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

Financial Operations

  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets.

  • Handle general accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.

  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of all financial transactions and records.

Tax Management

  • Prepare and submit tax filings, including GST returns, in compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Ensure timely adherence to all tax regulations.

Compliance & Audit

  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, regulations, and reporting standards.

  • Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes.

Collaboration & Business Support

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to streamline finance processes.

  • Provide financial insights and ad-hoc analysis to support business decisions.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance function.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accountancy; professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ACMA) preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax, and GST rules.

  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in a similar role with full set of accounts handling.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

  • Strong analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

  • Self-motivated, resourceful, meticulous, and a team player.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
