Our client is actively searching for an Assistant Accounts Manager to join their team!

Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee the full set of accounts for the Singapore branch to ensure accurate financial management
  • Prepare and review financial statements and reports to comply with accounting standards and support decision-making
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping of all financial transactions for audit readiness
  • Handle GST submissions and ensure compliance with Singapore tax regulations to avoid penalties
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax agents to facilitate audits and tax-related matters efficiently
  • Support tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency and reduce liabilities
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and best practices to uphold financial integrity
  • Address transfer pricing matters where applicable to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders as part of the finance team to support organizational goals

Required competencies and certifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience handling full set of accounts and financial reporting
  • Familiarity with GST filing and Singapore tax regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and reporting standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365
