Accounting Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to manage client portfolios and oversee full sets of accounts preparation, ensuring accurate financial reporting, tax compliance, and delivering high-quality accounting services.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients across various industries to deliver tailored accounting solutions
• Prepare and review full sets of accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards
• Execute GST filing, corporate tax computation, and tax submissions to meet statutory deadlines
• Ensure compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and statutory requirements
• Liaise effectively with clients, auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to facilitate smooth financial processes
• Review bookkeeping and accounting work prepared by junior staff to maintain quality and accuracy
• Provide accounting and financial advisory support to clients to enhance their financial management
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports and statutory filings to avoid penalties

Required competencies and certifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in an accounting firm or corporate services firm
• Strong experience in handling full sets of accounts for multiple clients
• Good knowledge of Singapore tax regulations and accounting standards

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and MYOB
• Strong organizational and client management skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines
