Cyber Security Consultant, Insurance

We are partnering with a leading insurance services organisation to hire a Cyber Security Consultant to support security strategy, risk management, and security assessment initiatives across the organisation. (1-Year Renewable Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide cybersecurity advisory and consultation to technology and business teams

• Conduct security assessments, risk analysis, and vulnerability evaluations

• Support incident response and remediation activities

• Ensure alignment with security standards and regulatory requirements

• Collaborate with stakeholders to strengthen the organisation’s overall security posture

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of cybersecurity experience in security consulting, risk management, or security strategy

• Proven experience in security assessments, risk management, and incident response

• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH

• Additional certifications (advantageous): OSCP, OSCE, GIAC Web Application Security

• Good understanding of security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and CIS Controls

• Prior experience in the financial services industry preferred
