About the Role

We are looking for a Hardware Security Analyst to join our team in Singapore. In this role, you will work on diverse hardware security projects ranging from black-box reverse engineering to security evaluations, R&D initiatives and technical training delivery. You will interact with clients from semiconductor companies, OEMs and academic institutions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct expertise projects including black-box reverse engineering and security evaluations in white-box or grey-box settings
  • Participate in project scoping, perform security investigations, attend client meetings and compile detailed reports
  • Contribute to R&D by developing practical knowledge on side-channel analysis techniques and sharing findings through technical articles and publications
  • Deliver technical training on side-channel analysis to audiences ranging from novice to expert level
  • Develop new training content and improve existing training courses for hardware security programs
  • Collaborate with international clients from semiconductor companies, OEMs, academic institutions, and government organisations

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in physical attacks on cryptography and security functions embedded in chips
  • Proficiency in side-channel analysis from hardware setup through key extraction
  • Solid background in cryptography
  • Background knowledge in chip microarchitectures
  • Experience in reverse engineering (preferred)
  • Strong Python programming skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong written communication skills in English
