SENIOR DATA ENGINEER & DATA GOVERNANCE SPECIALIST – 12 Months Contract

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the Data Governance Hub, centralizing metadata for improved lineage, traceability
• Responsible to Implement an system to centralize data management, improve data quality, and enhance decision-making capabilities.
• Lead the design and development of scalable data models for efficient data lakes and data marts. Optimized end-to-end data pipelines, guaranteeing structured and timely data for analysis.
• Define and executed multi-year analytics capability roadmap aligned to commercial and operational.
• Implement data-driven architecture enabling, governance, and data quality monitoring
• Partnered with business users and data stewards to translate business requirements into governance and quality solutions.
• Automate data management processes by developing UNIX scripts and ETL graphs, reducing manual effort and increasing efficiency.
• Perform end-to-end validation of ETL hops in Data Lake systems, ensuring lineage accuracy and compliance with governance standards

Skills/Requirement:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• 9 years of experience in data engineering, ETL, Data Governance.
• Experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Experience in ETL tools such as Ab Initio, SQL, Talend.
• Experience in Talend, Kafka integration and Hadoop pipelines
• Built and optimized Ab Initio load graphs and automation scripts to streamline ETL workflows and improve system efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with data cleansing, de-duplication, andreconciliation
• Strong experience in Scripting Unix shell Scripting, python, SQL.
• Strongexperience in Data Analytics
