Software Engineer (Java)

Job Description

We are seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications. The role involves working on both backend and frontend systems using modern technologies to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot

2. Develop frontend components using React and TypeScript

3. Build and maintain server-side applications using Node.js

4. Design, develop, and integrate RESTful APIs

5. Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting

6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver software features

7. Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices

8. Maintain technical documentation where required

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or other IT-related disciplines

2. Experience in Java, Spring Boot, React, TypeScript, and Node.js

3. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC)

4. Experience working with relational and/or NoSQL databases

5. Familiar with version control tools such as Git

6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment

Nice to Have

1. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP)

2. Experience with CI/CD pipelines

3. Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodologies
