Senior /Project Controller – (Electrical / Automation, Commercial Finance)

Financial Oversight

• Monitor project budgets and actual costs, ensuring alignment with forecasts.

• Produce clear monthly project reports with insights on variances, trends, and financial risks.

• Analyze project cost structures and suggest opportunities for savings or efficiency improvements.

Pre-Contract & Commercial Support

• Collaborate with proposal and bidding teams to review costings and assumptions.

• Assess commercial terms and contracts from a financial perspective before submission.

Project Execution & Control

• Oversee daily project financial operations, including invoice verification, delivery documentation, and timely billing.

• Manage working capital through effective debt collection and billing schedules.

• Coordinate commercial instruments such as insurance policies, performance bonds.

Forecasting & Reporting

• Lead month-end project closings, ensuring accurate revenue recognition and cost accruals.

• Develop realistic financial forecasts for revenue, margins, and cash flow.

Stakeholder Engagement & Compliance

• Act as a financial advisor to project teams, providing actionable insights for operational decisions.

• Ensure compliance with internal processes, project documentation standards, and delegated authority guidelines.

• Support logistics and commercial requirements, including shipment documentation and L/C compliance where needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.

• More than 5 years in project finance, accounting, or commercial control in project-based industries (engineering, manufacturing, construction, or technical services).

• Familiarity with Microsoft Business Central (Navision) is a plus.
