Job Description

As an Automation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our manufacturing operations. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced automated systems that drive efficiency, accuracy, and innovation across production lines. This is a hands-on role where your expertise will directly enhance reliability, scalability, and overall performance.

Responsibilities 

  • Design and implement jigs, fixtures and tooling solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality and Engineering to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
  • Program, commission, and maintain PLCs, robotic systems, and other automated equipment.
  • Develop intuitive user interfaces, dashboards, and visualization tools for real-time monitoring and control.
  • Troubleshoot. debug and optimize automation systems to ensure seamless operation.
  • Staying abreast of emerging automation technologies, Industry 4.0 trends and IoT-enabled solutions to continuously improve manufacturing capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in industrial automation, including PLCs, robotics, sensors and process optimization.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or ladder logic for PLCs.
  • Strong experience with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for designing automation systems and fixtures.
  • Solid understanding of Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT integration, and smart manufacturing technologies.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Experience in vision systems, machine learning for automation, or advanced robotics integration.
  • Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) or SCADA platforms.
