Test Engineer (ITS related products)

The incumbent is responsible for execution of system test for Next Generation Electronic Road Pricing (ERP2) system.

System Test Management for ITS products (Planning, Preparation & Exectution)

· Responsible for leading and finalization of test scope for ITS product with client and partner.

· Interface with all internal parties including Japan and counterpart.

· To act as system test leader for ITS product, to negotiate and meet up with client and partner to finalize the scope of system test, finalize the evaluation method of performance test.

· Responsible for leading execution of system test for ITS product to manage schedule, progress, etc.

· Interface with all internal parties including each team in Japan counterpart related to system test execution.

· To act as a system test manager for ITS product, to ensure the smooth delivery of the system test.

· External communication with Government Agencies / Clients and partners which involves instruction, consultation & sharing of information

· Negotiation for the scope of system test for ITS related product with external vendors which includes Government Agencies and Clients

· Internal communications with ITS Stategic Business Unit in Japan & MHI-MS related sections which involves negotiation for the scope of system test for ITS related product.

Requirements

· Bachelor Degree of Engineering

· Minimum 3 years of experience in MHI’s Intelligent Transport Systems

· Native level of Japanese writing and speaking to liaise with Japan counterparts (JLPT N1) is a must as liaising with Japanese internal counterparts and external suppliers is necessary.

· Microsoft Office Skill (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

· Related experience and knowledge in construction of ITS related product.

· Engineering knowledge of Japan’s Intelligent Transport Systems products and related fields.

· Multi-tasking abilities

· Ability to meet project deadlines
