IT Security Engineer (AWS Cloud Security) - [ST]

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage AWS cloud security controls and best practices.

• Configure and maintain AWS security services such as IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, WAF, Shield, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.

• Monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and suspicious activities.

• Perform security assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response.

• Work closely with DevOps and infrastructure teams to integrate security into cloud deployments.

• Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards (e.g., ISO27001, CIS benchmarks).

Requirements

• 3–7 years of experience in IT Security / Cloud Security roles.

• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud platforms and security tools.

• Good understanding of network security, identity access management, and cloud architecture.

• Experience with security monitoring, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Preferred

• AWS Certified Security – Specialty or AWS Solutions Architect certification.

• Experience with DevSecOps, Terraform, or CloudFormation.

• Familiarity with SIEM or security monitoring tools.
