Data Analyst – AI Standard Products

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with strong exposure to AI Standard Products to support data-driven decision-making across government or public sector initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in translating complex datasets into actionable insights, supporting AI-enabled products, and ensuring compliance with Government data, AI, security, and governance standards.

This role is suited for candidates with experience in regulated environments, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional stakeholders including product managers, AI engineers, and business users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse structured and unstructured datasets to generate actionable insights supporting business, policy, and operational decisions
• Support the implementation, adoption, and performance monitoring of AI Standard Products, including analytics platforms, AI/ML tools, and decision-support solutions
• Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualisations for senior management and stakeholders
• Translate business and operational requirements into analytical outputs and data-driven recommendations
• Perform data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and integrity across multiple data sources
• Support AI model monitoring by reviewing model outputs, performance metrics, bias indicators, and drift trends where applicable
• Ensure compliance with Government data governance, AI governance, privacy, and security standards
• Document data definitions, business rules, assumptions, and analytical methodologies for audit, governance, and knowledge transfer purposes
• Work collaboratively with business, product, and technical teams to support delivery of analytics and AI-enabled initiatives
• Contribute to continuous improvement of analytics processes, reporting standards, and best practices

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline
• At least 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data analysis, preferably within government, public sector, or other regulated environments
• Strong experience in analysing large and complex datasets to support operational, strategic, or policy outcomes
• Hands-on experience supporting AI-enabled products, analytics platforms, or data-driven business solutions
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with data analysis tools such as Python, R, or Excel
• Experience developing dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualisation tools
• Good understanding of data governance, data quality management, privacy, and security principles
• Familiarity with AI governance concepts such as model monitoring, explainability, bias detection, and drift analysis will be advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams

Preferred Experience:

• Experience supporting Government or public sector data and AI initiatives
• Familiarity with governance-driven delivery environments and compliance requirements
• Experience producing audit-ready documentation and maintaining clear records of analytical methodologies
• Knowledge of metadata management, data lineage, and data lifecycle practices
