The WW BPR Decision Support team is looking for a Data Engineer who is passionate and motivated to make an impact in creating an innovative data driven solutions to support Supply chain functions at Apple. The team’s key focus is to develop and design data & analytics solution to provide insights for supply chain health & support strategic decision making.

The role provides a unique opportunity to create innovative and transformational change leveraging data and analytical solution. As a business analyst you will be able to incubate and experiment newer data to demonstrate value of the data and enable data and information consumption for strategic decision making.

Description

• Partner cross-functionally across Supply Chain, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable, high-impact analytics solutions that drive strategic decision-making.
• Lead end-to-end analytics and data engineering initiatives—from problem framing and exploratory analysis to solution architecture, deployment, and executive-level storytelling.
• Architect and implement robust, scalable data models and transformation pipelines to enable reliable reporting, advanced analytics, and enterprise-grade decision support.
• Design and deploy analytical data driven frameworks to power end-to-end digital supply chain visibility,
• Develop and optimize data extraction, transformation, and integration processes to enhance performance, accessibility, reliability, and scalability.
• Embed data governance, quality, privacy, and security standards across all analytics and engineering solutions.
• Translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Build visualization-ready datasets and scalable reporting frameworks that support executive presentations and operational decision-making.
• Drive clarity across ambiguous problem spaces by simplifying complexity, aligning stakeholders, and defining clear goals, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Foster strong cross-functional partnerships by proactively managing expectations, reducing ambiguity, and ensuring delivery against high standards of accuracy and usability.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/MS/MBA in Computer Science, Statistics, Business Analytics or Operations
• MS/MBA in Business Analytics, Computer Science, Statistics, Operations, Machine Learning, Finance, Marketing or related field

Preferred Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Supply Chain processes and Business Analytics, supporting functions such as Supply Chain Planning, Order Management, Inventory Management, Logistics, Retail, Online Operations, and Reverse/Refurbishment Supply Chains.
• Designed, developed, and supported Business Intelligence, reporting, and analytics solutions with 4–8 years of hands-on BI development experience.
• Experience in translating ambiguous business requirements into analytical solutions, enabling data-driven decision making.
• Demonstrated Collaboration with technical teams, business stakeholders, and remote global teams to deliver analytics initiatives.
• Utilized data mining and data engineering tools to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets.
• Developed data models and analytics frameworks aligned with business consumption needs.
• Led Supply chain analytics solutions to answer critical business questions and enable rapid capability development.
• Partnered with stakeholders to capture business data requirements, analyze source systems, and deliver scalable analytics solutions.
• Experience in ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining high-quality deliverables.
• Delivered advanced analytics and intelligence solutions for supply chain planning and operational efficiency.
• Experience in presenting insights and analytical findings to business leaders and cross-functional teams to support strategic decisions.
• Influenced partners and stakeholders to adopt data-driven solutions with measurable business impact
