Job Description
Responsibilities
• Handle full set of accounting duties for Australia and New Zealand market.
• Lead the month-end close process including close of sub-ledgers, inventory, accruals, prepayments, lease schedules, bank reconciliation etc.
• Intercompany reconciliations and allocation of costings to correct brands/departments.
• Manage fixed assets.
• Balance sheet reconciliations & HQ required additional month end reporting.
• Supervise AP & AR functions and provide support.
• Prepare weekly cashflow forecast update.
• Assist with stock management including the support for stock take twice a year.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting process.
• Liaise and coordinate with external auditors and tax agents to ensure timely and accurate reporting and adherence to regulations and deadlines
• Assist with new system implementations.
• Assist in implementing and monitoring internal controls in accordance with the group’s policies and local statutory requirements.
• Maintain and keep proper records and accounts with supporting documents for the required statutory period
• Ad-hoc accounting and analysis duties as required.
Requirements
• Degree holder in Finance or Accounting
• 3 to 5 years relevant experience, preferably gained in luxury retail industry
• Knowledge of computerized accounting system and inventory system (Experienced in Stealth, SAP, and MYOB is plus)
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team with strong communication skills to interact with people at different levels
• Self-motivated, responsible, mature, able to handle multi-tasks and meet tight deadlines
• Excellent command of English and Mandarin
• Experience in Australia & New Zealand market is a plus
• Immediate available is preferred
