Purpose of the Job
The AI Solutions architect will design and oversee the Microsoft Fabric IQ-based data & AI architecture, ensuring seamless integration of enterprise data and AI solutions.

The successful candidate will be a self‑starter who combines strategic insight with meticulous execution. You must be comfortable juggling a matrix of relationships, including external vendors, internal system owners, senior business leaders, functional heads, and end‑users and be able to translate their diverse needs into clear, actionable plans. A proven track record of advising on AI‑enabled solutions, championing continuous improvement, and setting realistic expectations is essential.

Job Accountabilities/Key Responsibilities

• Enterprise AI Architecture: Design and evolve the overall architecture of the AI platform, built on Microsoft Fabric IQ (the new semantic data layer)
• Integration Design: Plan integration between Digital Workbench (MCP client) and the Fabric IQ MCP Server, enabling AI agents to securely interact with enterprise data
• Project Leadership: Define project roadmaps, technical standards, and best practices; guide the team on data modeling, ontology design, and AI solution development
• Governance & Quality: Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in AI solutions; review AI models/analytics for alignment with business semantics and reliability

Qualifications & Experience

• Enterprise Data Architecture: Deep knowledge of data warehousing, Power BI semantic models, ontology design, and Microsoft Fabric IQ platform
• AI & Analytics: Familiarity with AI/ML technologies, BI tools, and how AI Copilots/agents interface with data (experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a plus)
• Cloud & Integration Skills: Expertise in Azure services (data storage, compute, security) and integration patterns (APIs, OpenAPI/REST, Azure Data Factory)
• Leadership & Experience: 8+ years in solution or data architecture roles, leading complex projects end-to-end; ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and mentor engineering teams
