Security Configuration Management

Responsibilities

·       Develop a security baseline checklist for each Observability & AIOps application aligned with the Secure Baseline Standard (SBS)

·       Build automated scripts to continuously validate compliance and detect configuration drift from approved security baselines.

·       Develop a product‑specific checklist mapping all required CIS controls (Data Protection, Configuration, Account Management, Access, Audit Logging, Software Security).

·       Build custom scripts (from scratch) for each application to validate compliance against the baseline checklist.

·       Script functions include: Verification of security‑critical configuration files and parameters and Detection of unauthorized services or plugins

Skills/Requirement

·       Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

·       Min 5 years of experience in custom automated validation scripts for each application to verify compliance against the approved baseline configuration.

·       Develop application-specific security baseline checklists aligned with SBS security domains.

·       Core Script Capabilities

·       Scripts will perform automated checks including Configuration Validation, Service & Plugin Validation, Encryption Validation, identity & Access Checks, Infrastructure Configuration, Output & Reporting

·       Applications are deployed on premises 

·       Strong Scripting skills 

·       Strong understanding of the Linux OS
