Job Description

Key Responsibilities 1. Project Planning & Scheduling • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules based on project scope, milestones, and deliverables • Prepare baseline schedules and regularly update project timelines • Monitor critical paths and key project milestones 2. Site Progress Monitoring • Conduct regular site visits to verify actual work progress against planned schedules • Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to collect accurate progress updates • Identify potential delays or issues affecting construction activities 3. Reporting & Schedule Control • Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports • Analyse schedule variances and propose recovery plans where necessary • Provide schedule updates and recommendations to project management 4. Coordination with Project Team • Work closely with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure alignment with project schedules • Support coordination meetings and planning discussions • Assist in resolving scheduling conflicts between different trades and activities 5. Resource Planning Support • Assist in manpower, equipment, and material planning to support project timelines • Monitor productivity and provide feedback on schedule performance Requirements • Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction planning or project scheduling • Familiarity with planning software such as Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project • Ability to interpret construction drawings and project specifications • Experience working closely with site teams
